My main ride has for a long time has been a Zildjian 22" K Custom Dark Ride. It works in a wide variety of situations. It's mellow, it's ping, and it's a crash. I can get a nice floating groove with it. She is a sweety.

Hi-Hats are a mixture of 15" Quick Beat top Hat on bottom and a 15" A-Custon Crash on top. I also like the 14" Quick Beat Platinum Finnish Hats. Crashes and splashes vary according to the music, but I have to say that I like thin crashes... Sometimes they can be trash can lids too. I saved couple of those American ones, when they started to use plastic containers.
